Assistant Professor Naomi Klinghoffer is a member of the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University. Her research portfolio includes catalysis, biomass valorization, and carbon capture, focusing on the production of renewable fuels. She concentrates on developing nature-inspired solutions for carbon transformation and the thermal treatment of waste materials. Previously a researcher at Columbia University, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering. She is a Western Academy Fellow and leads a research group dedicated to sustainable chemical processes, currently welcoming inquiries from prospective graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
