Assistant Professor Yalda Mohsenzadeh serves in the Department of Computer Science at Western University. Her research integrates computer vision, computational neuroscience, and machine learning to bridge the gap between human and artificial intelligence. She specifically investigates how the human brain processes visual information to improve the performance of deep learning models. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She supervises graduate students in the Vision and Memory Laboratory and is currently available for doctoral mentorship in artificial intelligence.
