Associate Professor Elizabeth Finneron-Burns, Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Science, Western University, researches intergenerational ethics, future generations, population ethics, human extinction, and political theory. Her research mission is to clarify what present people owe to future people, including questions about who and how many people to create and what kind of lives to leave them. Her current Western University research includes The Ethics of Human Extinction, and her teaching and supervision align with normative political theory and ethics.
