Richard Ivey Professor of Medicine James E. Calvin, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, researches cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, preventive medicine, heart failure, and academic medicine. His scholarly work spans more than 330 publications and book chapters and reflects longstanding leadership in heart and vascular care, clinical prevention, and departmental strategy. His mission is to strengthen medicine through integrated research, education, and clinical leadership. Previously at Rush Medical College and Rush University Medical Center, he also serves Western University in senior departmental leadership and is recognized for teaching and service.
