Professor Laura Murray serves as the Director of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University. Her research integrates aphasiology, cognitive-communication disorders, and neurogenic communication to improve rehabilitation for adults with brain injury or dementia. She specifically investigates the relationship between attention, memory, and language processing in aging populations. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Arizona, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She provides expert supervision for graduate students in the area of adult language disorders and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and research consultation.
