Assistant Professor Maryam Nabavi Nouri is situated in the Department of Paediatrics at Western University. Her research specializes in pediatric epilepsy, electroencephalography, and neurodevelopmental outcomes, focusing on the early identification of surgical candidates for drug-resistant seizures. She works to understand the long-term impact of epilepsy on cognitive and social development in children. Holding a Doctor of Medicine and specialized training in pediatric neurology, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She teaches medical residents and supervises graduate researchers exploring clinical neurophysiology, and she is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral student supervision.
