Associate Professor Anita Christie is a member of the School of Kinesiology at Western University. Her research portfolio includes neuromuscular physiology, motor unit activity, and aging, focusing on how the nervous system controls muscle force. She concentrates on understanding the changes in motor control associated with injury, fatigue, and neurological disease. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She teaches courses in human physiology and supervises graduate students in the Neurovascular Research Laboratory, currently welcoming inquiries from prospective researchers.
