Cesar Moreira, Ph.D., is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Production Sciences at ESPOL Polytechnic University, associated with the Center for Renewable and Alternative Energy. He is also an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University and is associated with Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resources (ICFAR). 

Moreira earned his Ph.D in biological/biosystems engineering at the University of Florida.
