Professor Jay Stock conducts research in the Department of Anthropology at Western University. His scholarly work emphasizes biological anthropology, human evolution, and skeletal biology, particularly regarding how human phenotypic diversity is shaped by environmental and cultural factors. He investigates the relationship between physical activity, nutrition, and bone morphology in past and present populations. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, he is a core member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He supervises graduate researchers in the Phenotypic Adaptability, Variation, and Evolution Laboratory and is currently available for student inquiries and mentorship regarding the evolution of human health.
