Associate Professor Chai W. Phua, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his research on plasma cell dyscrasias, immunologic hematology, benign hematology, malignant hematology, and thrombosis. His work links blood cancer care with broader hematology practice, including disorders of coagulation and immune-mediated disease. His research mission is to improve diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex hematologic conditions through clinically grounded scholarship.
