Assistant Professor Yamini Subramani, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads scholarship in perioperative medicine, obesity and anesthesia, difficult airway management, anesthesia pharmacology, and perioperative patient safety. Her publications in major anesthesia journals examine clinically important questions in drug dosing and perioperative risk, including work recognized in national media. Her research mission is to make anesthesia safer and more precise for higher-risk patients through evidence-based perioperative research. She also completed fellowship training in perioperative medicine and contributes to teaching and academic anesthesia at Western University.
