Assistant Professor Lana Lee serves in the Department of Biochemistry at Western University. Her research centers on structural biology and the molecular mechanisms of protein-nucleic acid interactions. She investigates the role of DNA repair pathways and genomic stability in preventing neoplastic transformation. His mission is to unravel the biochemical pathways of genetic maintenance to inform the development of novel therapeutics. Dr. Lee provides research supervision for graduate students and is involved in teaching undergraduate molecular biology. She utilizes advanced biophysical techniques to study the assembly and function of complex molecular machines.
