BIO

Professor Jefferson Frisbee is a researcher in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His primary investigative work centers on microvascular physiology, vascular disease, and cardiovascular health with a focus on the regulation of peripheral blood flow. He seeks to understand how the microcirculation adapts to chronic metabolic conditions like obesity and diabetes. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Guelph, he serves as the Chair of the Department of Medical Biophysics and is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He supervises graduate students exploring vascular hemodynamics and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and research inquiries.
