Associate Professor Anton Puvirajah serves within the Faculty of Education at Western University. His research program integrates science education, informal learning, and discourse analysis to examine the sociocultural factors influencing student participation in technical fields. He focuses on creating inclusive learning environments that foster identity development among marginalized youth in STEM disciplines. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Wayne State University, he contributes to the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. He teaches graduate seminars on educational research methods and supervises students exploring urban education, and he is currently available for academic consultation and student supervision.
