Dr. Ajaei is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University. He also serves as the Director of the Electrical Engineering Program. His research interests include protection and control of power systems with focus on renewable energy systems, microgrids, and electric vehicle charging infrastructures. He currently supervises the Power System Protection and Control Laboratories at Western University. He is a member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society and a reviewer of several IEEE Transactions journals.
