Professor Timothy Bussey is a researcher in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. His primary investigative work centers on cognitive neuroscience, touchscreen testing, and memory to understand the neural circuits of executive function. He seeks to develop translational models for assessing cognitive health in neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, he is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute and a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He provides expert supervision for graduate students in the Bussey-Saksida Lab and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and academic consultation.
