BIO

Scientist and Adjunct Research Professor Seema Nair Parvathy serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on prebiotics and fecal microbiota tranplantation (FMT) in improving the gut microbiome in several diseases including improving the efficacy of Immunotherapy in Oncology. She investigates the role of prebiotics in improving the gut microbiome and metabolome in Liver diseases and cancer. Her mission is to advance FMT in improving the efficacy of Immunotherapy in melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and others. Dr. Parvathy provides training in FMT and other gut microbiome manipulations for clinical therapy.
