Associate Professor Erin Heerey is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on social cognition, reward processing, and behavioral science to examine how people navigate social interactions. She seeks to understand the neural and psychological mechanisms that allow individuals to interpret social cues and value social outcomes. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience.
