Associate Professor Catherine Neish conducts research in the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University. Her scholarly work emphasizes planetary geology, radar remote sensing, and astrobiology, focusing on the surface processes of icy moons and terrestrial planets. She investigates the formation of impact craters and the potential for life on bodies like Saturn's moon Titan. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Arizona, she is a member of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. She supervises graduate students in planetary science and is currently available for mentorship on projects involving spacecraft data and planetary analog studies.
