Assistant Professor Andrea V. Andrade Banuelos, Departments of Clinical Neurological Sciences and Paediatrics, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses her academic work on pediatric epilepsy, pediatric stroke, paediatric neurology, epilepsy fellowship training, and child neurology. Her clinical and scholarly profile centres on complex neurologic disease in children, especially seizure disorders and cerebrovascular conditions. Her mission is to improve neurological outcomes for children through specialized care, program leadership, and research-informed training. She is also Medical Director of the pediatric epilepsy program in Southwestern Ontario and co-director of the pediatric epilepsy fellowship training program at Western University.
