Award-winning mathematician Chris Kapulkin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Western University. He has worked on research with the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, Berkeley, California, MSRI Higher Categories and Categorification Reunion Event, MSRI/Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Center for Advanced Study, Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge, U.K. and the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. Dr. Kapulkin's work has been recognized with a Distinguished Research Professorship in the Faculty of Science here at Western University, the Florence Bucke Science Prize and the Canadian Mathematical Society's Coxeter-James Prize.
