Dr Jamie Mann worked as an Assistant Professor at Western University (Canada) and before that, trained as a postdoctoral scientist at St George's University of London (UK), Imperial College (UK) and Case Western Reserve University (USA). Dr. Mann was appointed Lecturer in Vaccinology and Immunotherapy in February 2020, before being promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2022. Dr Mann's research centres around the development of novel therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines against mucosal pathogens such as HIV, Influenza and SARS-CoV-2. Along with a primary appointment at University of Bristol, Dr. Mann also holds an Adjunct Research Professorship at Western University, where he has a satelite research lab.
