Professor Christopher W. McIntyre, Departments of Medical Biophysics and Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on hemodialysis, chronic kidney disease, peritoneal dialysis, cardio renal medicine, and applied imaging. He directs a multidisciplinary program examining how kidney disease and dialysis affect cardiovascular, brain, liver, and gastrointestinal structure and function. His research mission is to improve kidney care by linking clinical nephrology with imaging, physiology, and innovation in dialysis research. He is also Robert Lindsay Chair of Dialysis Research and Innovation and Director of the Lilibeth Caberto Kidney Clinical Research Unit.
