Professor Isha DeCoito is a researcher in the Faculty of Education at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on STEM education, scientific literacy, and teacher professional development with a focus on underrepresented groups. She seeks to understand how digital technologies and inquiry-based learning enhance student engagement and identity in science and engineering. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, she is a Western Space Investigator affiliated with the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. She supervises graduate researchers in curriculum studies and is currently available for doctoral mentorship in science education and outreach.
