Professor Vipul Jairath, Departments of Medicine and Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on clinical trials, index development, patient reported outcome measures, prediction modelling, and inflammatory bowel disease clinical research. His work in Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, pouchitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding connects rigorous trial design with better measurement of treatment response and patient experience. His mission is to improve inflammatory bowel disease care through high-quality clinical evidence. He also serves as Associate Chair of Research in Medicine and directs the Advanced IBD Fellowship at Western University.
