Professor Alexander Khaw is situated in the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at Western University. His research specializes in stroke, neuroimaging, and vascular neurology, focusing on the use of MRI and CT imaging to guide acute stroke treatment. He works to clarify the factors that influence recovery following ischemic brain injury and the optimization of secondary prevention strategies. Holding a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Marburg, he is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience.
