Assistant Professor Dominic Pjontek serves in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University. His research program integrates multiphase flow, fluid coking, and computational fluid dynamics to improve industrial reactor performance. He specifically investigates gas-liquid dispersion and fouling monitoring techniques in large-scale chemical processes. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Ottawa, he collaborates extensively with the Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resources. He teaches transport phenomena and reactor design while supervising graduate students in experimental fluid mechanics, and he is currently available for doctoral supervision.
