BIO

Sepi Taheri is an Associate Professor at Western University and former director of Paediatric Hospital Medicine Division at the Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Taheri graduated from Edinburgh University Medical School and completed her post-graduate training in paediatrics in London, England.

 

She practised as consultant paediatrician and honorary senior clinical lecturer at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Edinburgh University prior to moving to Canada.  She has developed a research interest in the causes and treatment of childhood headache, as well as in conducting studies in the inpatient setting. 

 

She serves on a number of national fora aimed at improving care of children through research and advocacy, including Canadian Paediatric Society Hospital Paediatrics Section Executive, Paediatric Inpatient Research Network  of Canada (PIRN), Choosing Wisely Community of Practice in Paediatrics, and Paediatric Canadian Headache Network (PeCAHN).
