BIO
Associate Professor Lisa Cameron, Departments of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medicine, and Microbiology and Immunology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on inflammation, functional genetics, molecular regulation, Th2 immunity, and allergic disease. Her laboratory studies how naturally occurring genetic variation influences the development and trajectory of inflammatory disease using cellular and molecular immunology, functional genetics and genomics, and translational science. Her mission is to explain why inflammatory disease unfolds differently across patients and to translate that knowledge into better care. She also contributes to interdisciplinary immunology research training at Western University.
