Associate Professor Katherine Willmore conducts research in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western University. Her scholarly work focuses on morphometrics, craniofacial development, and evolutionary biology, particularly the factors that influence morphological variation and integration. She investigates how genetic and developmental disruptions lead to facial malformations such as cleft lip and palate. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from Texas A&M University, she is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. She teaches clinical anatomy to medical and dental students and supervises graduate researchers in the field of biological anthropology and development, and she is currently available for student mentorship.
