Associate Professor Qutaiba A. Tawfic, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his scholarship on acute pain, chronic pain, pain management, anesthesia, and intensive care. Western University materials identify him as Director of the Acute Pain Service and describe fellowship training in both acute and chronic pain after earlier anesthesia and intensive care experience.
