BIO
Associate Professor Anne Simon is a researcher in the Department of Biology at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on social behavior, neurodevelopment, and genetics using Drosophila as a model system. She seeks to understand how genetic and environmental factors shape social interactions and the neural circuits underlying behavioral plasticity. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the Université Paris-Sud, she is a core member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She teaches advanced genetics and supervises graduate researchers exploring the biological basis of sociality, and she is currently available for student inquiries.
