Kate Stanley, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English and Writing Studies, and fellow of School for Advanced Studies in the Arts & Humanities at Western University, where she teaches courses on American literature, philosophy, and culture. Professor Stanley was named the Graham and Gale Wright Distinguished Scholar in recognition of her wide-ranging and substantial contributions to her fields of teaching and research, which include nineteenth- and twentieth-century American literature, modernist art and literature, pragmatist philosophy, aesthetic education, climate and culture.
