Ahmed Refaey Hussein, Ph.D., P.Eng., SMIEEE, is an Associate Professor of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Guelph and an Adjunct Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University. His work on secure low-power wireless networks and embedded-system trust mechanisms aims to strengthen the security and resilience of connected systems used in communication and industrial computing environments. His work has been recognized by IEEE Canada with the M.B. Broughton Central Canada Silver Medal and their North America Exceptional Service Award.
