Dr. Teeter leads a research program advancing precision medical imaging for musculoskeletal health, developing quantitative biomarkers that link imaging, biomechanics, and biology to improve joint replacement and osteoarthritis outcomes. His team collaborates with industry and clinicians to translate these discoveries into next-generation implants, therapies, and digital technologies that enhance patient mobility and quality of life.

His research has received numerous recognitions including a CIHR New Investigator Award, Ontario Early Researcher Award, the Polanyi Prize in Physiology/Medicine, Coventry Award from the Knee Society, Neer Award from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and an Early Career Researcher Award from the Arthritis Alliance of Canada. Dr. Teeter is Past President of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty, Past President of the Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society, and Vice-President of the Canadian RSA Network. He is a member of the Knee Society.
