Assistant Professor Anurag Bhalla, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on airway inflammometry, steroid insensitivity, kinase signalling pathways in severe asthma, asthma, and bronchiectasis. His work connects inflammatory airway mechanisms with clinically important challenges in severe respiratory disease and difficult-to-treat airway disorders. His research mission is to improve care for patients with complex airway disease through mechanism-based respirology research. He also supports clinical teaching in Respirology and contributes to Western University’s respiratory medicine faculty.
