Cristina Caracchini, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Languages and Cultures at Western University. She researches Western nineteenth and twentieth century poetry, Italian literature, theory and history of the avant-garde, narration theatre, and Italian-Canadian ethnic literature. Her research mission is to connect poetic theory, Italian modernity, performance, and migration through literary and cultural analysis.
