Associate Professor Angela Mendelovici conducts research in the Department of Philosophy at Western University. Her scholarly work focuses on philosophy of mind, intentionality, and consciousness, particularly regarding the internalist nature of mental content. She investigates how our subjective experiences represent the world and the structural relationship between phenomenal qualities and thought. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Arizona and has authored influential texts on the phenomenal basis of intentionality. She provides high-level supervision for students interested in mental representation and currently welcomes graduate applications for the upcoming academic cycle.
