Assistant Professor John Basmaji, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research in critical care medicine focused on POCUS in mgmt of shock, resuscitative health technologies in Critical Care Medicine, prospective study design, systematic review methodology, and clinical practice guideline development. His work connects bedside ultrasound and critical care technology with stronger evidence generation for critically ill patients. His research mission is to improve shock management and intensive care decision-making through better methods and practical innovation. He also teaches in Critical Care Medicine and is completing doctoral training in Health Research Methodology.
