Assistant Professor Stephanie A. Zukowski serves in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University. Her research centers on host-pathogen interactions and the role of the innate immune system in controlling viral infections. She investigates the molecular mechanisms of immune signaling pathways and the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies. Her mission is to advance the understanding of infectious diseases through the study of cellular defenses and microbial evasion tactics. Dr. Zukowski provides research supervision for graduate students and contributes to the microbiology curriculum.
