Dr. Don Eby retired from clinical medical practice in 2022. He had worked as an Emergency Physician at Brightshores (formerly known as Grey Bruce Health Services), Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. For 26 years he was a local Medical Director with the Southwest Ontario Regional Paramedic Base Hospital Program. Since retirement from clinical practice, he has continued to do research in pre-hospital and Emergency Department care, focusing on the social and inter-personal relationship aspects of it. He has a Western University appointment as an Adjunct Research Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine and does work with members of Western's  Centre for Educational Research & Innovation.
