Postdoctoral Associate Eric Cyr-Desjardins works within the Department of Philosophy and the Rotman Institute of Philosophy at Western University. His research program emphasizes philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and neuroethics to probe the nature of mental representation and agency. He focuses on clarifying how neuroscientific evidence informs our philosophical understanding of consciousness and intentional behavior. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the Université du Québec à Montréal, he contributes to the interdisciplinary dialogue between philosophy and the brain sciences. He currently supports collaborative projects investigating the ethical implications of emerging neurotechnologies and remains available for academic consultation.
