Assistant Professor Arvand Barghi is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at Western University. His research focuses on nephrology and renal replacement therapy, specifically investigating the management of chronic kidney disease and electrolyte disturbances. He explores the efficacy of different dialysis modalities in improving long-term patient survival. His mission is to enhance the care of patients with end-stage renal disease through evidence-based nephrological interventions. He provides clinical supervision and teaching for medical residents and nephrology fellows. He holds a Doctor of Medicine and is actively involved in clinical service at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
