Associate Professor Matthew Davis, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research in emergency medicine focused on prehospital medicine, novel cardiac arrest treatment strategies, sepsis, high risk refusal of service/no transport, and acute behavioural emergencies. His work studies how prehospital systems and emergency interventions can improve outcomes before and during hospital care. His research mission is to strengthen evidence-based emergency and paramedic practice across Southwestern Ontario. He also serves as Regional Medical Director of the Southwest Ontario Regional Base Hospital Program and contributes to emergency medicine research leadership at Western University.
