Associate Professor Zheng Zhang serves within the Faculty of Education at Western University, where she researches literacy and biliteracy curriculum. Her scholarship investigates transnational education and the role of new media in shaping contemporary learning environments. By utilizing keywords such as biliteracy curriculum, transnational education, and new media literacies, she explores how digital storytelling and translanguaging empower diverse student populations. Dr. Zhang’s mission centers on redressing educational inequities through innovative pedagogical frameworks. Previously an assistant professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she currently supervises graduate research and serves as an editor for the Language and Literacy journal.
