Assistant Professor Saadia Jan serves in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. Her research integrates primary care, global health, and health equity to examine the delivery of healthcare to underserved and migrant populations. She focuses on the socio-cultural barriers to medical access and the development of inclusive health policies in community settings. Having earned a Medical Degree and specialized training in family medicine, she is affiliated with the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration regarding planetary health. She teaches medical students and supervises graduate researchers in the field of community health, and she is currently available for academic mentorship and research consultation.
