Professor Yun-Hee H. Choi, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research in genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, family data analysis, cancer risk modelling, and statistical methods. Her work develops quantitative methods for complex family-based and longitudinal data, including age-dependent penetrance and successive cancer risk in hereditary syndromes. Her mission is to build stronger statistical tools that improve how disease risk is measured and understood. She also teaches in the Biostatistics Field of Study and is recognized by Western University through recent faculty promotion news.
