Assistant Professor Hema Gangam serves in the Department of Paediatrics at Western University. Her research focuses on paediatric neurology, specifically investigating the management of epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders in children. She explores the efficacy of ketogenic diets and novel antiepileptic drugs in improving seizure control. Her mission is to advance pediatric neurological care through the study of brain plasticity and clinical research. Dr. Gangam provides clinical teaching and supervision for paediatric residents and neurology fellows.
