Associate Professor Christina McCord holds joint appointments in Dentistry and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Western University. Her research centers on oral pathology, specifically investigating the molecular markers of oral squamous cell carcinoma and salivary gland tumors. She explores diagnostic proteomics and the progression of oral premalignant lesions. His mission is to improve early detection of oral cancer through tissue analysis and histopathology.
