BIO

Dr. Christopher Power, Associate Professor, department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Director of the research group RESTORE, which conducts innovative research aimed at addressing the sustainable management of our water resources through the development of engineering technologies in addition to enhancing understanding of natural hydrogeologic systems. He has a National Diploma from the Waterford Institute of Technology, and completed his BEng / MEng (2007) in Civil Engineering at The University of Edinburgh. Chris then attended Western University where he completed his PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering (2014). He then worked as a as a Research Assistant at Western University, then as a Senior Research Geoscientist and Project Manager for Verschuren Centre, Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia.
